Candy Basket

The candy basket is favorite of ours, since its currently the smallest basket at Teaberry. It was called the candy basket early on, since it was often purchased as a gift, and then our customers would fill it with candy when they gave it away. It's often used on desks in offices or entry tables in homes for complimentary sweets.

Its main wood type is maple, and American hardwood. The stakes (vertical black pieces) are wenge, an African exotic wood type. Each wood is left in its natural color, and the basket is finished in boiled linseed oil to preserve the natural color and also to act as a protection for the wood. Grains and wood colorations may vary from photos. The handle is Beta®, which is a rubber synthetic, typically used in horse harnesses.

Each basket is signed, numbered, and dated on the bottom, which makes each one unique.
